Common problems
A generation failed and produced nothing
Occasionally a portrait, scene, dataset photo or video generation fails. Select Try again. In rare cases a failed attempt can still use a small amount of credit even though nothing was produced; if you notice your balance drop with no result to show for it, and it happens more than once, contact support and let them know roughly when it happened.
My credit balance in the header looks wrong right after signing in
The number can take a moment to catch up right after you sign in or switch account context. Refresh the page and it will show your correct balance.
I can't reach Clone Yourself, or it tells me to switch context
Clone Yourself only works in your personal account, never inside a workspace, because a clone always represents one real person confirming their own likeness. Open the avatar menu in the top right and switch to your personal context, then try again.
A button is greyed out
Most disabled buttons are waiting on one thing:
- Generate buttons need a description, a prompt, or (in the clone wizard) both consent checkboxes and at least one uploaded photo.
- Not enough credits means your balance is at zero. Select the Top up link next to the button, or the credits chip in the header, to add more.
- In the video lane editor, Generate clip disables while you have unsaved lane changes. Select Save lanes first.
I don't see the video I just generated
A character's talking videos generated during your current visit appear right away in its Content feed. If you navigated away and came back, refresh the page so the feed reloads everything saved so far.
I want to clone someone else
This isn't offered. Clone Yourself requires you to confirm the photos and voice are your own; there's no way to create a clone of another person through UGC Studio. If you want a persona that looks like someone else, build a synthetic AI character instead, which is never based on a real person's likeness.
Still stuck
Reach out through your workspace admin or DevGhouse support with what you were trying to do, the character or clone name involved, and roughly when it happened.
