Blog
Blog at blog.devghouse.com is where you write posts and where anyone can read them. Every account gets a spot to publish to from day one: if you have a website of your own, that website gets its own blog; if you do not, your posts go to the shared Marketplace blog instead.
You do not need a website to start writing. You do not need to know HTML. You write in a simple editor, pick where the post should live, and save.
What you can do
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Write and save posts | A title, a body with formatting, an optional excerpt and cover image. Saved posts start as drafts. |
| Choose a home | Every post lives somewhere: a website's own blog, or the shared Marketplace blog if you do not have a website yet. |
| Publish and unpublish | A draft is only visible to you. Publish makes it public; Unpublish sends it back to draft without deleting it. |
| Categories | Group your posts and let readers browse by topic. You can also ask AI to suggest categories from your existing posts. |
| SEO details | A search-result preview, a meta title and description, and keywords, all per post. |
| Autopilot | Turn on scheduled AI writing for a website's blog: it picks a topic, writes a post, and either saves it as a draft or publishes it, on the days and times you choose. |
| Calendar | See every post on the blog laid out on a month grid by its publish date, color-coded by status. |
| Integrations | Connect X (Twitter) so a post can share itself as a tweet thread, written to a template you control. |
| Reading and sharing | The public blog at blog.devghouse.com lists every published post. Each writer has an author page, and readers can subscribe to any author's posts by RSS. |
Who it is for
Anyone who wants a place to publish writing under their own name or their business's name: build-in-public updates, how-to guides, announcements, or a running journal of what you shipped. If you run a website on DevGhouse, Blog gives that website its own blog section automatically.
How it connects to your workspace
A website is what gives your blog its own home and its own domain-style URL. If you have not connected a website yet, that is fine: pick Marketplace (no website) as the post's home and it publishes to the shared Marketplace blog instead, still under your name.
Blog does not have its own top-level entry in your workspace's left-hand menu. The fastest way in is to go directly to app.devghouse.com/blog and bookmark that page. If your account has the Marketplace module turned on, there is also a menu route: Marketplace section in the left-hand sidebar has its own Blog link, which opens the same screen. See Getting started for the full walkthrough.
Plan with an assistant (MCP)
Connected Claude, Codex or another assistant to your workspace through the MCP Server? It can write and manage posts with you: blog_list_posts, blog_get_post, blog_create_post and blog_update_post cover the everyday writing and editing; blog_list_categories / blog_create_category manage categories; blog_get_settings / blog_update_settings change the blog's title, description and AI writing preferences; and blog_get_autopilot_settings / blog_update_autopilot_settings / blog_run_autopilot turn on and control autopilot for a website's blog. A routine that is scoped to one of your projects automatically writes to that project's own website blog instead of the shared one.
See Working with agents for the full tool list and what each one needs.
Credits
Writing, saving, publishing and reading are all free. Only AI help spends credits: an autopilot-written post costs a few credits, and asking AI to suggest categories costs a couple more. Manual writing, even with the rich editor, never spends anything.
