Common problems

The catalog looks empty, or a search finds nothing
Courses is in beta and the catalog is still growing; a search with no matches always says so plainly rather than guessing at a bug. Try a broader search term, or check back later as more courses go live. If you have something to teach yourself, see Teaching a course.
A lesson is locked
You see a lock icon instead of a play button on a lesson you have not paid for. Only lessons the instructor explicitly marked as a free Preview play before you enroll; everything else needs you to own the course first. See Enrolling and paying.
Payment will not go through
- Paying with your DevGhouse balance: the button tells you if your balance is too low, with an Add funds link straight to your account credits.
- Paying with Phantom: make sure the Phantom extension is installed and unlocked, and that your wallet actually holds the token you selected (DGH, SOL, or USDC). The button shows Insufficient token if it does not.
- Either way, an error under the pay button shows the actual reason if a payment attempt fails; it is not a silent failure.
My progress or purchase is missing
Progress, purchases, and hearts are all tied to your DevGhouse account, not to a device or browser. If something you expect is missing:
- Confirm you are signed in as the same account you used to enroll. One DevGhouse login works on every product, so it is easy to end up signed in with a different account or a different sign-in method (email vs. GitHub vs. Google) than the one you started with.
- A free enrollment does not show up in My Purchases, only in My Learning, since no payment happened.
No certificate button
The certificate only appears once every lesson in a course is marked complete, at 100%. Open the sidebar to see which lessons still need a Mark Complete click.
Still stuck
Every signed-in page has a small Report a bug tab on the right edge of the screen. Use it to send details straight to DevGhouse, or check the Docs and Support links in the footer.
