Common problems
"The buy button is greyed out"
Check three things: you are signed in (a signed-out visitor sees Sign in to trade instead of a buy button), you have picked a side (Yes or No), and you have typed an amount greater than zero into Credits to spend. If the amount is more than your balance, a Not enough credits for this trade warning appears above the button with a Top up credits link, and the button itself stays visible but disabled.
"Sign in sent me to a different website"
That is expected. Predictions shares your account with the rest of DevGhouse, and signing in goes through the same account system at app.devghouse.com. Once you sign in there, you land back on the exact Predictions page you started from.
"The price chart says No price history yet"
That means nobody has traded that market yet; a market opens 50/50 with no history until the first trade happens. Check back after a trade or two, or switch the chart's period (24H, 7D, 30D, All) once there is some history to show.
"I can't sell as many shares as I want"
You can only sell shares you actually hold on that side of that market. You own above the amount field shows the most you can sell; click Sell all to sell your full position at once.
"I don't see myself on the leaderboard"
The leaderboard only lists traders with at least one trade in the period you have selected. If you traded a while ago, switch from Week or Month to All time.
"I created a market, now what? How do I settle it?"
Resolving a market you created (paying out Yes, No, or refunding everyone as Invalid) is not yet a button on the market page. For now it is done through an AI assistant connected to your account, using the prediction_resolve_market tool; see Creating a market and Connect an AI assistant.
"My credits didn't change after I set up a trading agent"
Deploying an agent by itself does not spend anything. Credits move only when a scheduled run actually happens, either the flat AI research fee for that run, or a bet the agent places within your caps. Check your portfolio after the agent's next scheduled run to see what it did.
