Working with agents
If you have connected Claude, Codex or another assistant to your workspace through the MCP Server, it can read and write your blog directly, using the same data you see in the editor. A routine or agent that is scoped to one of your projects automatically writes to that project's own website blog; one with no project reaches your whole personal or workspace blog instead.
Posts
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
blog_list_posts | List posts, filtered by status (published, draft, or all) and optionally by website. |
blog_get_post | Get the full details of one post. |
blog_create_post | Create a new post: title, content, excerpt, status, category, images, SEO fields, and which website (or Marketplace) it belongs to. |
blog_update_post | Change any of the above on an existing post, including moving it between draft, published, scheduled or archived. |
blog_delete_post | Permanently delete a post. |
blog_unpublish_post | Send a published post back to draft. |
blog_tweet_post | Share a published post to a connected X (Twitter) account. |
Categories
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
blog_list_categories | List a blog's categories. |
blog_create_category | Create a category, with an optional description, thumbnail and AI prompt. |
blog_update_category | Rename, redescribe, or reorder a category. |
blog_delete_category | Remove a category (its posts are kept). |
Autopilot
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
blog_get_autopilot_settings | Read a website blog's current autopilot configuration. |
blog_update_autopilot_settings | Turn autopilot on or off, and set its schedule, publish mode and voice. |
blog_run_autopilot | Fire one autopilot run right now instead of waiting for its schedule. |
blog_list_topics / blog_create_topic | Manage an advanced topic-and-subtopic list an assistant can steer autopilot with. This is not on the Autopilot screen itself today; in the app, autopilot draws its topics from Categories instead (see Autopilot). |
blog_generate_subtopics | Ask an assistant to expand one topic into a list of specific post titles. |
Settings and writing voice
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
blog_get_settings | Read a blog's title, description and AI writing preferences. |
blog_update_settings | Change the title, description, comment rules, or the AI voice, tone, brand keywords, words to avoid, target audience and approved link targets every AI-written post uses. Some of these (voice, keywords, audience) are assistant-only today: they are not yet on the web Settings screen. |
blog_writing_samples_list | List the shared writing-style examples an AI writer can be told to match. |
blog_writing_samples_create / _update / _delete | Manage those style examples. |
A typical request
"Draft a post about our latest release using the website's approved writing style. Keep it as a draft and show me the result before I publish it."
An assistant given that request would create a draft with blog_create_post, leave its status as draft, and hand you the post so you can review it in the editor before clicking Publish yourself.
